WOODEN BOARDS

Selection of wooden wall boards by Erich Engelbrecht. The wooden wall boards belong to a group of works from the 1960s ranging somewhere between painting and wooden sculptures.
They hang at a certain distance in front of the walls or from the ceiling, creating an additional interaction of light and shadow.
Some later served as motifs for tapestries or were reproduced as steel sculptures.
