A selection of paintings by Erich Engelbrecht. The paintings belong to his first creative period between the end of the 1950s and the mid-1960s and are therefore among his earliest works.
The first paintings were created in Bielefeld, later he was able to work with larger formats in Melle. Some works were also executed during his winter stays in Locarno. Erich Engelbrecht used wooden panels as well as canvas as a painting support.
